It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Coach Kerry Box on Sunday, May 1st, 2022. On behalf of the entire Western Ringette program, we extend our condolences to his family, friends, and the many athletes Kerry mentored during his over 30 year career.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved LRA alumni. Early this week, Kerry Box passed. On behalf of all current and past LRA members, we extend our condolences to the family, friends, and ringette community whom he influenced greatly.

Kerry was well known locally for his additional involvement in introducing the Western University Ringette program and coaching it for many years. Other involvement spread province-wide contributing to the Western AAA program and Coach of the Year Award from @RingetteOntario
