People of Leeds. A better future is in your hands. Send a message that the status quo will no longer be tolerated. Vote SDP this week for local candidates.
Tim's right, that gap exists, @SDPhq exists, and we've got the offer that people want.
But knowing you're right and making sure people hear you are two very different things. We're all working on that second one.
If anyone finds themselves nodding along with Tim's analysis, you should come check us out, and if you really want to make a difference, join us - https://t.co/kUXkAuchRZ
The biggest lie told to young people in Britain is "go to university, work hard, save up, and you'll own a home."
Lots of us have "done everything right", and yet still found the ladder pulled up in front of us.
Student debt, rocketing housing prices, stagnant wages.
Yeah it's no wonder so many under-35s are apathetic.
Thank you to @GrimsbyLive and @MoPo97 for covering my candidacy in Thursdays Local Elections in North East Lincolnshire.

The depressing state of Scottish politics. Don't vote for us for our policies, vote for us to stop two other party's who we think might be more popular. For clarity, I also hope everyone rejects the SNP, and the Greens. Vote for who represents you best. Be brave Scotland.
We need a welfare state funded by growth, not debt, which focuses on people who genuinely need it, that does not grow every year without making anyone better off.
‘The SDP has been called Thatcherism with a human face, but that perhaps is to denigrate it. There were a lot of original ideas about social market economy and such — the German notion of synthesis between market and society attracted me' Robert Skidelsky.

The average house now costs eight times the average salary. In 1997 it was four times. Nothing changed about how hard it is to build a house. Everything changed about the political will to build them. 🇬🇧
Why am I standing in Hillingdon East in the upcoming local elections? I never wanted to get involved in politics; i'm not a huge fan of self-serving Politicians! However, if you feel strongly about something, you have to do something about it.
If you want change in your community you have to fight for it. The standard you walk past is the standard you accept. To change the system you need to get into the system.

William Clouston, Stephen Balogh, and Matthew Kirtley address journalists and supporters at today's launch of The Investment State, the SDP's new economic Green Paper.
"We're not in favour of unrealistic Net Zero targets.
We're against de-industrialisation in the West.
We've never believed in slamming our own economy.
We are in favour of nuclear energy."
