@DrDavidVernon Awww thank you! I'm very excited to be working on this role now.

[Erika Mädi Jones @LondonSoprano]

@DrDavidVernon Just found this awesome photo! That weekend was truly epic. Still pinching myself that I got to try out my first Sieglinde with a full orchestra BEFORE piano. What true luxury!

Soprano Erika Mädi Jones - @LondonSoprano - sings with us in Singin in the Spring @1901ArtsClub on 22st April. Erika and our Musical Director @Panaretos_piano are already an established & respected musical partnership. https://t.co/pMubJynyrD

[Erika Mädi Jones @LondonSoprano]

@Ticketline @GreenManFest Thanks! Have sent message. Don't want to miss out on a ticket. But need to take my toddler on a walk so he will nap. This has taken so long that my morning has been messed up and subsequently likely now my night's sleep tonight due to his sleep schedule being disturbed.

[Erika Mädi Jones @LondonSoprano]

Argh @GreenManFest and @Ticketline I've been trying to get tickets for 2 hours now. Your website won't accept my MasterCard details AND the Ticketline helpline has been permanently engaged for the duration. SO frustrated.

[Erika Mädi Jones @LondonSoprano]

4) Frazer Scott is organising singers for the event - if you are a professional singer interested in joining (and have not already signed up) please email him on [email protected] (The previously listed WhatsApp group no longer exists.)

[Sarah Playfair @SarahPlayfair]

3) We are aiming for *200 - 300 singers*, socially distanced, 3m apart. (we've checked the rules about this and it's okay). This is the goal. If parameters change, we will change our goal accordingly - the organisers are doing calculations for us.

[Sarah Playfair @SarahPlayfair]

2) At lunchtime on the 30th of October "We Make Events" are organising another of their musical protests in Parliament Square and Let Music Live are collaborating with them.

[Sarah Playfair @SarahPlayfair]

1) Professional Classical Singers in London - would you like to be involved in a protest in Parliament Square on 30 October (along the lines of the instrumentalists event a couple of weeks ago)? This is what I have been sent:

175 years ago today a statue of Beethoven was unveiled in Bonn honouring the 75th anniversary of his birth

Liszt and Berlioz were present as were Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the King and Queen of Prussia

250th birthday celebrations in 2020 have sadly been limited

[Erika Mädi Jones @LondonSoprano]

@Joanna_Harries Ahhhh who cares these days when you’re actually getting the chance to be actually singing! You look fab! Hope you’re having a wonderful time and sending all the Tois! :-)

[Anna Patalong @Anna_Patalong]
