The Fazl Mosque, meaning "Grace", was opened in October 1926, welcoming 600 distinguished guests, including MPs and international dignitaries.

A green heritage plaque was unveiled today at Fazl Mosque, Southfields, recognising its historical importance as London’s first purpose built mosque. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Wandsworth, the Leader of the Council, and other distinguished guests. #Wandsworth
