@mattpocockuk A bit yes. However functionally speaking, it works well. In addition to what Loic says, I see the research work as an issue to be completed. Once it's been completed, it can be referenced by PRDs. I use tags / labels to facilitate discovery / introspection. Having it all in one place makes it convenient. I agree that instincts make us want to somehow store that differently. However in my experience, the more locations we have to store things the more disconnected they become, cognitively. It's a bit like code collocation lol
@mitchellh@AstrohackerLabs So many butthurt people by something that is trivial to avoid if you’re paying any modicum of attention to what you’re doing. They’re not worth your time lol
Disagree on composability. If you architecture your codebase right from the get go, all that is different between the two is the router semantics and SSR-only considerations. Most of your business logic should be on the server anyway, SPA or not. I’ve switched entire
codebases back and forth using the adapter pattern and it was pretty quick. But I use Effect
@C02oblivious@Ravenger___ There's two scenes that are really random and made me go wtf. This one, and when they make the screen flash with colors with nothing else happening for like 10 seconds when Kamina almost dies or something. Oddly enough, this NEVER happens again for the entirety of the anime
@9chabard I'm french. It's basically something that people DID use to say more often at some point in time. Then it died out. Nowadays, saying this would elicit "suspicion" from the person you're talking to, like they'd try to gauge whether you're joking or whatever. So yeah
@ThePrimeagen Eg in one of the Big Data stacks that I handle, I created querying / debugging utilities that anyone (incl. the AI), can use. I use them myself, I ask the AI to use them. No difference. Most of the time, I'll just ask the AI. But it's there for me to use when I want to go quick
@ThePrimeagen Very easy problem to solve. Treat the AI as if it was another member of the team with valuable time. You would take the time to create the tools to access the info, so do it for and with AI. AI can expedite this so all the more the reason NOT to skip this step
@GergelyOrosz One of the best life skills I developed was the ability to have this back and forth with myself. LLMs in the picture then didn’t change anything, in fact it might have enhanced it. You really have to develop critical thinking, like learning how to play chess against yourself
@mattpocockuk I nuked my Max sub just before this post dropped actually lol. Switched to OpenAI for mainstay. Incredible delusion from them (I don’t think they realise how much better the competition has gotten and how crazy their PR has been)
@badlogicgames No one’s “happy” to use buggy software. Sure you adapt to it, curse it every now and then, go around the buggy patterns, only because ultimately there’s nothing else you’d rather use given the compromises you’re willing to make in terms of features etc, but that’s not content
