14th February is to celebrate Fr. Valentine who’s a symbol of promoting selfless love and not just the erotic ones we’ve been pushing through. It’s better we name it properly so that generations to come won’t be misguided.

From the story, we only took love to me “for couples or people in relationship” but yet we turn blind eyes to those really in need of love.

Fr. Valentine didn’t only celebrate love by joining willing couples in marriage but he also showed love to those in need of love and care which made him outstanding in service and Christendom but we’ve chosen only to celebrate companionship in error when we’re to show love daily.

But because we’re so selfish, we forget that we’re to celebrate love everyday and show love to everyone around as Christ has taught us, we decide to wait for a particular day everyyear to do “eye service” to one person that you want to deceive or have been deceiving all along.
