Deeply saddened by the news of Douglas Boyes' @diarsia sudden passing. A true hero and inspiration in the field of Lepidoptera conservation and someone whose career I have been closely following. I hope we can follow in your footsteps and honour your memory. Rest in peace Doug.

First visit to Butterfly World IOW at the weekend and saw some absolutely beautiful butterflies, including white morphos, giant owl butterflies and my personal favourite of the day, the glasswing.
Unfortunately no atlas moths this time!

Students are/will be graduating into a difficult job market after the pandemic & this will essentially penalise those who are able to secure work in these difficult times.
