Tombili, meaning "chubby" in Turkish, was a beloved feline resident of Istanbul, Turkey.

She was often found perched on the steps in the photograph, observing the world around her.

Her charming demeanor captured the hearts of many, catapulting her to internet fame.

Tragically, Tombili passed away in August 2016 after a severe illness. In her memory, a statue was erected, only to be stolen a month later.

Fortunately, the statue was eventually returned, ensuring Tombili's legacy would endure.
