Are western scientist really so closed minded to not be exceptionally alarmed by China’s zero COVID steps?
Do you really believe that our vaccinations are the silver bullet? Do you really think China is that dumb and everyone else is so smart?
Just being logical here.
@LeftCoastVegan Um wow! Can I have some of your magic vaccines? Because I am still seeing LC in quadruple vaxed people. The fact that medical professionals are so woefully misinformed is frightening
@LeftCoastVegan Folks really don't understand how common Long COVID is... or that a symptom of it is not knowing you have it.
There are so many questions.
So, I prepared this thoroughly sourced article to explain it with relevant studies.

@LeftCoastVegan this really sucks. As someone who just lost their GP (retirement), I know all too well it is like winning the lottery to get a GP here. And...I also know that were I to have complications post COVID, not only is the medical system over-worked, I have no primary contact. /2
Covid has not become an endemic yet and mandates were lifted far before they should’ve been, and now there’s a rise in cases. I’m at the point where I despise who are in favor of the “natural selection/too bad so sad for the immunocompromised” agenda. AKA, “idc if you die”.
So for the 10-30% of patients who have long covid + immunocompromised, how are we supposed to “live with Covid” knowing that reinfection could kill or permanently worsen us. More importantly how are we supposed to recover with reinfection?
@elisaperego78@renosdream@loscharlos On the bright side it suggests that an echo might be a widely available test to give some contributory evidence of microclotting when drs want to claim it's in your head. As well as a V/Q scan.
I am increasingly convinced that there are two types of people in the world: those who hear "everyone will get COVID eventually" as permission and those who understand that it's a threat.
I spent 2 years intubating COVID patients in the ED and working nights in the COVID ICU and I got it - from my kids.
My kids got it at school. Thanks @CMOH_Alberta
"but in reality it's still an illness that can knock a lot of people off their feet for days or weeks. Be cool if that was acknowledged".... "weeks".. LOL
