I always wanted to be an artist, whatever that was, like other chicks want to be stewardesses. I read. I painted. I thought.

Read an article in Hindustan Times, 'Justice depends on human wisdom, not AI'.
We have allowed the human gatekeepers to become fraudulent, now we risk allowing our legal reasoning to become synthetic.
I would suggest u read this article by Ashish Bhardwaj.
Apparently, this is one of the earliest known photographs of the sacred Kedarnath Dham, taken in 1882.
Couldn’t take my eyes off it.
No roads. No railheads. No helicopters.
Just the abode of Lord Shiva, cradled by the Himalayas
Back then, the yatra demanded time, endurance, & faith. The journey wasn’t incidental; it WAS the pilgrimage.
Today, access is easier. And that’s a good thing because it opens the experience to many more.
But perhaps something still needs preserving?
The ability to slow down & savour the experience of traveling.
Because journeys are about who we become along the way.

When it rains, we often watch the water rush away into drains, disappearing as quickly as it arrived.
But in one district, the rain found its way back home — into the earth.
Prathap M, an IAS officer and son of a farmer from Virudhunagar, grew up knowing that every drop matters. In his childhood, water wasn’t just a resource — it was survival.
He was the first graduate in his family.
He cycled kilometres to attend school.
He carried a quiet dream of serving society.
Years later, that dream turned into action — through an idea both simple and transformative.
Instead of permanently sealing abandoned borewells, his administration converted more than 1,200 unused borewells into rainwater-harvesting recharge structures. During the monsoon, rainwater was directed into these deep shafts, allowing it to seep back into underground aquifers instead of flowing away.
The impact became visible after just one season.
Groundwater levels reportedly rose by 5 to 10 feet in several areas. Wells that had run dry began to show signs of revival. Farmers felt relief. Fields regained hope.
It wasn’t about building something new.
It was about rethinking what was already there.
Sometimes, real change doesn’t come from grand projects.
It comes from understanding the land — and listening to it.
