“Tips on Tithing”
As we lead up to our all Tithes Sunday, October 4th, I will post a tip daily to bring clarity and encourage you to simply try it.
Here is your first tip.
God is the source of our very lives. If we are obedient in our giving He will take care of our needs.
Consider this as you go through your day.
Know that he is God. He knew what would happen before you knew. All things are under his control.
Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
God wants us to be brave in the face of the hardships we face. He has given us the spirit of power, love and self control.
2 Timothy 1:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Consider this thought. Worrying won’t change a thing.
Meditate on these scriptures as you go about your day.
Matthew 6:27-34 New International Version (NIV)
