@4golfonline I feel like that is one of the biggest things I struggle with is properly shifting weight in my bottom half in my swing. I know I can do it because I have before and felt a difference, just hard for me to be consistent with it. Will definitely give this a try!
@kerrodgraygolf I see this to many times when I am golfing with friends where they will be playing good and then they let one bad shot ruin the rest of your game. Golf is a big time mental sport just as much as physical!
I talk about all kinds of benefits that you gain from starting to get back into shape on my newsletter post for tomorrow. Subscribe below so you don’t miss it ⬇️

Building a better body doesn’t just benefit you in the game of golf. Though that may be the reason you want to get into better shape, it will also help carryover to feeling better in day to day life. Especially for those that are older and find it tough doing daily tasks.
Proper hip mobility = Proper swing
Once you understand that getting your hips able to move freely will allow you to swing freely.
This will create consistency, generate farther hitting distances, and prevent injury along the way

I’m sure a lot of us have taken lessons at the local club and nothing quite seemed to stick. It’s probably not the lesson that was bad but your body not being able to get into the position the instructor wanted.
Find out what can help you get the most out of those lessons ⬇️⬇️
@NtokozoMkhize Great shot! I myself would still find a way to 2 putt for par from there lol. Keep up the hard work and it will pay off. Small tip that might help is start looking into mobility and stability that will help prevent injury and keep you out there as long as possible!
@ABdeVilliers17 Memories that will last a lifetime! I still remember the first time my grandfather took me to the course. I was immediately hooked, but more than that it gave me an opportunity to spend time with him and make many memories along the way.
@McLeanGolf@BiltmoreHotel@GolfDigest This is a good tip. I would follow that with mobility drills a couple times a week will allow you to be able to get to these proper technique positions easier and help your swing feel more natural rather than feeling tight.
@NUCLRGOLF Another good tip for creating more consistency in your swing is by developing better mobility and stability. This will allow you to be able to get in better position and have more control over your body./
@RiggsGolf Another good exercise for this movement is a low to high cable rotation, or a resistance band to achieve the same motion. With the cable or band it allows for control through the whole range of motion making it good for not only core strength but stability as well.
@the_auburncreed I like the idea of this honestly, but more as like a social thing like top golf. A place for people to just have drinks and have fun with friends not as like a country club style thing. If I was trying to actually get better I would stick to the gym and the actual course.
@ClassicSwingX That’s awesome to see. Love seeing people getting better at this game and in turn allowing them to enjoy it way more. I started doing adding more mobility work to my gym routine and it has made strides in my rotation and my ability to have a consistent swing.
@Top100Rick I too hope I can achieve that at his age. Father Time is undefeated but that doesn’t mean you can’t prolong his inevitability with some mobility work in the gym or at home. Starting now will save me time down the road when it becomes much harder to do so.
@shkeengolf Mobility and stability are key to being able to get your body into proper position to create a smooth consistent swing. People try and force the proper technique without having the physical ability to do so which will lead to injury down the line.
@MyTPI I don’t think people understand how much potential they are leaving on the table when it comes to being physically the best shape you can be. Not only does it prevent injury and keep you on the course playing but also the strides they could make in their game.
@RogerSteeleJr I developed a love for the game from my grandfather. He taught me everything I know when it comes to respecting the game. Taught me all about etiquette and what to do and not to do. This game allows me to combine two passions of mine golf and fitness and how I can help others.
@Fit_For_Golf I could only dream of getting the weight transfer in my legs as this kid does. Been doing workouts that can help sync my body together for better weight transfer and have made some progress but not at this level yet.
The offseason is the perfect time to take advantage of being in the gym.
- Don’t have to worry about being sore for a round the next day.
- You have nothing but time for your body to properly adjust to the physical gains.
