Deeply saddened by the demise of Smt Kekri Katharpi, wife of Lt Narayan chandra Tokbi, former teacher, Phangtengprang LP school, Dangkamukam, Bithung MAC constituency ,mother of Lt Harlongbi Tokbi, Shri Harbamon Tokbi, Dr Maha Bishnu Tokbi, Mrs Saityaprabha Tokbipi, BDO, Mrs.Kusum Tokbipi and Mrs Manuroma Tokbipi. She passed away at the age of 96 year yesterday at 9 AM.
I along with Shri Sarkiri Bey,Shri Sar im Teron visited her residence today and offer heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, during his visit to Diphu on 21st September 2026 at Kajir Ronghangpi Guest House.

A Landmark moment for Assam.

Today, we will lay the foundation stone of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) ‘s Advanced Radar Research Centre at Chandrapur,Assam. As part of Project NETRA, this facility will strengthen India’s ability to track objects in space and protect our vital space assets.
For a state once considered far from India’s major centres of technology, it is deeply satisfying to see Assam today becoming home to such cutting-edge national infrastructure.
