@EASFCDirect Received Tim Cahill and then, in three separate batches over the last 12 hours or so, 20+ content items that I should've received over the last three weeks but hadn't. Shocked at just how many rewards I hadn't received.
@EASFCDirect You employ about 14,600 people. You have a Comms director - he did an interview last month confirming what we all know - EA is appalling at comms. Since that interview, NOTHING has changed - you continue to treat your users with utter contempt and disdain.
@EASFCDirect No, they weren't, at least not all of them. And judging by the comments on here and your official forums, as well as Facebook and Reddit groups, there are thousands of users who you are fobbing off with incorrect information. Whatever your developers are telling you, it's wrong.
@EASFCDirect Is there any chance, any chance whatsoever, that you're going to admit that your messaging is wrong? Re-starting the game did not magically resolve this issue. Users have not been messaged in-game. Most users have not received rewards (though the game apparently thinks they have)
@JoshuaWray30090@EASFCDirect Nope, EA Help doesn't do customer service - they'll refer you to this account for updates. It also appears that EA doesn't do coding, development, internal or external communications....
@EASFCDirect Let's face it, the only people who are going to hold EA to account is us, the customers and users. You know what to do when EA starts to push pre-orders for '27.
@EASFCDirect Send your developers back to Temu and hire some people who not only know how to code, test, code and test again, but who actually care and want to produce a great game. Otherwise, you're going to repeat this mess over and over again.
@AnMac1862@EASFCDirect Each person should get the rewards that the game said they'd received but didn't. But I suspect, given EA's recent history, that it will be a scattergun approach and some people will get what they missed, some will get more than they're waiting for, and some will get nothing!
@EASFCDirect What's the communication like between the comms team and the developers? Seems to me like the developers say whatever they think the comms team wants to hear and the comms team runs with it. Then when its messaging is shown up for what it is (BS), goes quiet. And repeat.
@EASFCDirect Also, given your past history of 'resolving' this kind of issue, let's see how many users who actually received all of the correct rewards at the time, find that they've received more content.
@EASFCDirect Comms basics - let people know timescales - given your track-record, "we'll update this thread once this has been completed" is completely inadequate. Also, you should've said how the rewards were being rolled out, eg alphabetical order based on user names, etc.
@EASFCDirect Any chance that you will explain how and why the issue occurred; what corrective action you've taken; what plan you've put in place to ensure that such a thing does not happen again; and why your comms team has been sloth-like in updating customers / users?
@EASFCDirect Genuine question - of the approximate 14,600 people who are employed by EA Sports, how many of them are in the EA FC 26 communications team?
