HUGE 🚜🇩🇰
Danish farmers were out protesting against Bovaer in the milk supply.
Did you see anything about this on the news?
SHARE if you stand with farmers 💪
NEWSFLASH!! Our UK NHS low carb clinic is to get NATIONAL news coverage!! Friday Jan 3rd 7 pm @itvnews Thanks to @Oliviaguthrietv PLEASE RETWEET & TUNE IN TO FIND OUT WHY 🙏🙏
@JamesMelville@JamesMelville Im usually with you 💯 but a word of caution here ... I think you should check the authenticity of this guy. He's not being honest and not to be trusted.
@BumblingDad83 The one thing that stands out to me in all this .... You are being super hard on yourself.
Sometimes you can't shoehorn something into working, sometimes it's time to sit back for a while, be you, be proud of who you are and know that you are loved. Loved by many
Been to see Dad today in 🏴 they've no mains power, no telephone and no mobile signal ... And this is just one of the many trees down on the road to their house 👀 thankfully they're safe, warm and fed 🙏🏻
BOVAER - what on earth it that, and are we using it?
You might have heard about Bovaer—a feed additive designed to reduce methane emissions from cows. It's also slightly more interesting than that too - as it's going to be made just 20 miles from our own farm in Dalry, Ayrshire for export across the world.
On the surface, it sounds like a game-changer for the planet, but here at Mossgiel it's not on the menu.
At Mossgiel, we don’t just treat the symptoms of the problem; we look at the whole picture. Yes, methane emissions are a challenge, but rather than relying on additives, we focus on creating a system that works with nature. Here's why:
All of the cows on all of the farms supplying Mossgiel live on and eat organic grass, just as nature intended.
They graze on lush, organic pastures, free from chemical additives. We believe that healthy cows raised in harmony with the land are part of the solution—not just for emissions but for the soil, biodiversity, and the quality of your milk. On our own farm we feed seaweed too - which has shown to reduce methane naturally while boosting cow health through their immune system.
Regenerative, Organic farming is our fix.
Reducing methane isn’t just about what goes into the cow—it’s about what’s happening around her. By improving soil health, sequestering carbon, and promoting biodiversity, farmers are tackling emissions in a way that builds a better future for everyone.
Transparency is our promise.
Hey, anything that helps our climate issues is a positive to us - but humans have interrupted nature's flow before, and it's not worked out great. Big companies are trying to fix our issues with additives and UPFs when often, the answer is in our soil and in our whole foods.
At Mossgiel, we’re committed to farming in a way that puts the planet, animals, and people first. Because in the end, we don’t just want to reduce emissions; we want to live in a world where farming is the solution, not the problem.
Bovaer may be the solution of the future in a number of cases, and a large dairy are leading the research with a few UK farmers; but for now it's not for us.

I don’t want this crap added to my food. I doubt it will be much good for the poor cows they are experimenting on either. All of this climate nonsense really needs to stop!
🚨FARMERS LONDON - This doesn’t look like a small gathering of millionaire farmers to me….
This looks like the backbone of the UK taking a stand!
Pay attention Starmer, you just became Britains version of Macron 🚨
Fantastic video from these young farmers explaining the basic economics and mathematics of the inheritance tax law that Rachel Reeves from customer service and is clearly incapable of.
Please share this to inform the left wing echo chamber where needed.
We are literally witnessing a co-ordinated plan to shut down farming in order to control the food chain.
When they control the food . . . . they control us.
To all the farmers attending London tomorrow:
GOOD LUCK AND SOCK IT TO 'EM. 👊

If anyone would like to experience the feather bedded benefits of farming can I suggest going to work this week & wait to be paid sometime in 2026, whilst taking the risk that the payment might be less than the cost of going to work!
“You can’t pay the bills with butterflies and birds.”
Farmer James Rebanks tells @amolrajan & @bbcnickrobinson that the government needs to be clear about what it wants British farmers to do.

The irony of no one being able to get anywhere on Tuesday because all the farmers that drive the snow ploughs are sat on buses & trains to London...
I've been meaning to do a piece on Farming Companies hit by the #FamilyFarmTax. Similar principles apply to other trading companies. Stick with me, this is painful.
Alan and Bob, brothers, inherited their farms in the late 1970's when land was £1,000 an acre. 400 acres, a house and some kit means it's now worth £5m.
Alan is a sole trader with one daughter, Cath. Bob farms via a Ltd company and has one son, Dan. Both brothers lost their wives a few years back.
Alan and Bob die unexpectedly shortly after next April, and there's an IHT bill on both their estates of £735k each. The next gen can't afford to pay that from the income they generate of £50k p.a., so they both look to sell land to pay for it. You'd hope their circumstances were similar.
Cath sells 75 acres at £10k an acre. No CGT as she has just inherited it, and she pays off the inheritance tax. She's now farming 325 acres and things are much tighter.
Dan needs to get money out of the company. The company sells land, but has to pay corporation tax because there was no uplift in the company's land prices on death. He also needs to get that money out of the company, and that payment will be taxed as a dividend.
To pay the IHT bill of £735k, Dan has had to sell ~156 acres~, more than twice that of his cousin. He realises £1.56m, pays corporation and income tax of about £820k and only then gets the money in his own hands. He can then use what's left to pay the Revenue the inheritance tax.
Cath has sold 19% of her land, but Dan has had to sell 40% of his.
All circumstances are different. Get advice on your own position from someone you trust.
Wow - an incredibly powerful post and just awful to have to listen!
I don’t use the word betrayal lightly but a whole generation, now in the twilight of their lives, that have given everything have been betrayed!
Some people wonder why I’m a touch emotional at times!
