Just wrapped up an inspiring week at MonteVIDEO Tech Summer Camp 2025! 🌞🇺🇾📺
The camp brought together top video tech experts from around the world, we explored players, ads, CDNs, personalization, AI, and streaming... The mix of tech talks, hands-on projects, and cultural immersion (food, maté 🧉, dance!) made it a really valuable experience. Both on a tech and personal level.
Huge thanks to all the amazing people at @QualabsUy for organizing such a great event. The open-source projects presented, like the MoQ Player and VAST to SGAI Conversion service, will have a clear impact on video tech as we know it in the future. Excited to see where it'll go.
I've heard some visitors are now seriously considering moving from the US to Uruguay, so I wouldn’t be surprised if next year’s Summer Camp is even bigger!
As for me, I'll stay here for a week to work on @LontVideo's self-serve capabilities (including personalization with and without AI), super stoked to put it in alpha and share more soon!
