No, they are more concerned about turnovers than offensive production when protecting a lead. They get away with it because their defense is awesome. They did the same thing last year, but their running game was much better so they ate the clock on top of being conservative to avoid turnovers.

They are like a boxer way ahead on the cards protecting the decision instead of fighting and risking a knock out. Hurts was throwing dots in the freezing rain for an entire half. He didn’t forget how to throw in the second half.
