Welp, that’s a wrap for The Molly Maguires. Lost to a good team in the B final. Some really good shots from us didn’t go our way on the arena ice. One end got away from us and we battled back. Definitely made them work for it. Lot of fun this weekend.

The Molly Maguires winners in the B Semi. 5 in the 7th sealed it in the grudge rematch from pool play. Back on against another Houston team in about an hour. Also, I won a raffle!

@ibkabbitle Yeah. The shot we missed at the end was pretty straight forward. Was surprised skipper missed. A tie would have put us in the B too I think so it’s all good.

Lost after we missed a take out by ticking a guard on our last shot. Kyle hit a great draw for the win. A tie would have put us both in the A. Now we wait to see if we are in the B or C. Real fun game.

Another win for TMM, 9-5 after 7. Skipper fell on his shot in the 6th and other skip hit a killer shot to follow. Made it a little more hairy than it needed to be. Need to win our pool to stay in the A because our DSC was not good. Some fun times so far.

Team The Molly Maguires were big winners. Hand shakes after 5. 1-0 in pool play with two tough teams left at the May Open at Lone Star Curling Club in Austin. Good to be back home.
