@drich318318 @MatthewMKE98 While we should be rebuilding, our GM is fighting for his job so he wants as many wins as he can get OR to justify the losses with getting another high pick. Chances are, unless we get a 2nd, the GM is going to lose his job. It complicates this hypothetical trade.

@chuckh3 Tbh, I feel Sweat's value is more likely to go up than go down. If he plays well or even if just another team's guy goes down, his value goes up. Besides of all of that, he's just a good player and we should be trying to get as many good players as we can on this team.

@WBJMItch He's under contract for 3 more years? I am not against trading him, provided we get fair compensation. But this notion that if we don't do it immediately then we get nothing lacks foresight. It's not only possible but probable he increases his value by the trade deadline.

@stepbro_antonio @jesseconway48 @CardsCanyon Well naturally by saying you can't compare them, you are implying Parsons is so much better than Sweat you can't compare them, which is comparing them, bit of a paradox. Not saying they are equal value at all, just saying GB has to meet the asking price which they've done before.

@10VE4BALL @BenGarciaShow I'd argue that's false. Could play great first few weeks and raise his value & injuries to other guys on other teams could raise his value. Don't agree with Ben on a lot, but he's correct here. Meet the price and he's yours. GB pays up too, just look at the Parsons trade.

@WBJMItch This is a bit of an exaggeration. All the players playing are still very good players. I understand what you're getting at, but they aren't mid major level. I get what you're trying to illustrate but just making a 90 man makes you a very good player.
