Easy solution for @NBA Tanking: 17th - 30th PLACE play in a single elimination tourney to determine lotto odds/draft order for the non-playoff teams. Winner of that tourney would get the best probability in lotto/draft, 2nd Place in tourney would get 2nd best odds, etc...

#GETUP! @_espngreeny Easy Solution to tanking: Instead of dead last receiving lottery picks. The teams that don't make the playoffs, are thrown into a losers brackets, at which point they have to play through that bracket to then decide draftering order and lottery.
