With grateful hearts, we are excited to announce that one of our Board Members, Helen Eid, and Managing Director of Royal Grand Hotel donated assorted school supplies to Loop Academies. Thank you for supporting our efforts to reimagine High School education in Liberia!
As we gear toward creating a network of transformed secondary schools to deliver a world-class education that transitions young people into the workforce right out of high school, we are excited to announce our partnership with the Isaac A. David Sr. Memorial High School.
Our History & Geography instructor, Mr. Alexander K. Theoway, was certificated as one of the finalists of this year’s National Teacher’s Award.
Congratulations, Alex. All of us at Loop Academies are super proud of you and look forward to our continued impact together.
Practical science activities have huge significance in the learning process of students. They keep the students engaged, help them to develop important skills, understand the process of scientific investigation and develop a broad understanding of scientific concepts.

Our students paid a one-day visit to the National Museum of Liberia, where they explored their cultural heritage and had a lot of fun while doing so. We are grooming a generation of students who will have all the tools they need to transform their own lives and our society.
Over the weekend, our students had the opportunity to tour and purchase books from the World’s largest Ship Library MV LOGOS Hope at the Freeport of Monrovia. Opportunities as such are critical to how students build connections from the classroom to the real world.

For most young Liberians (Africans alike), high school is the last form of education they will receive before entering the workforce. We have an obligation to ensure they have the skills and competencies needed to enter the workforce.#futureofeducation#futureofwork
Super excited to share that we signed a lease on this incredible building to launch a model high school in Liberia. Over the next few weeks, we will begin work to transform this into a state of the art learning facility. Stay tuned. #futureofeducation#futureofwork
Yesterday we were excited to join a Focus Group for a potential R&D fund focused on EdTech in #SSA - organized by @Acasus2 on behalf of the @gatesfoundation. Incredible conversation! So looking forward to seeing this take shape.

We are thrilled to launch Academies today! We have set out to reimagine secondary education in Africa to tackle the continent’s massive youth unemployment crisis through software and an experiential, activity-based learning model. #loopacademies#liberia#africa#education
