LoopConf

The premier event for developers and engineers who build with WordPress.

Hey! We know those guys. 😃

[The WP Minute @TheWPMinute]

Why stick with WordPress when innovation feels slow? We're psychologically resistant to change, preferring comfort and the known. Plus, its established codebase and solved common problems offer immense practical value. #WordPress #WebDev

[The WP Minute @TheWPMinute]

Offering full refunds for event tickets until Jan 31st makes saying 'yes' easy. It's about providing flexibility, not holding money hostage. If plans change, so can their commitment. #EventPlanning #CustomerService

[The WP Minute @TheWPMinute]

Forced into a shift, I finally have the timeline to build the attendee-funded experience I've always envisioned. No more chasing early November sponsor budgets – ticket sales alone will cover event costs. #EventProfs #Entrepreneurship

[LoopConf @LoopConf]

We’re ditching traditional sponsorships to build an event centered entirely on you.

This clip from @TheWPMinute explains why capping attendance & funding the event through ticket sales creates higher-value conversations & a better attendee experience.

Some events are intentionally small. A sweet spot of around 150 attendees allows for focused conversations and a vibrant vibe, unlike massive conferences where connections get lost. #EventProfs #CommunityBuilding

By capping attendance between 100–200 people, we’re keeping the environment intimate enough that you can actually connect, catch up, and dive deep into real-world problem-solving—beyond just WordPress.

[LoopConf @LoopConf]

Why are we shifting LoopConf to an attendee-funded model? Because we're building a fanatically obsessed attendee experience.

@mattmedeiros from @TheWPMinute and @rzen discuss why smaller, focused events create better conversations:

LoopConf 2027 is prioritizing attendees, aiming for a 100% attendee-focused and funded experience. This means no sponsors, allowing complete focus on building the best possible event for attendees. #EventPlanning #CommunityFirst
