Am I biased in saying I prefer sonic games overall? Of course, I just love sonic, but when I use my brain, its impossible for me not to choose Kirby in a conversation games "Overall". The worst Kirby games are nothing more than slogs, but the worst sonic games are unplayable.

This setup is pretty devious but here's what I'll say as a veteran of both franchises.

Kirby wins due to having a consistently decent to great lineup. Sonic has somenmajor failures, but has much more gameplay variety (and that's unintentionally due to sega's inconsistency).

Its baffling to me how some sonic fans are legit calling Kirby "sauceless" or "boring" when they are far from it. To me, that's a sign that tells me they haven't played all that kirby has to offer.

I have played almost every Kirby game, and to use the word "Sauceless" is crazy.
