@remkorteweg I live in Lelystad, we need students to liven up the town. I propose we build a "quartier latin" here with student flats that have little studios for artists and craft shops on the ground floors. Get that Zuiderzeelijn in asap and we'll house students for Groningen as well.
@ExiledPaddy62@worseville @nannycrin @toryboypierce@SadiqKhan@vivamjm No, you're gaslit. I'm sorry for you, because it won't get better soon. Staring blindly and angrily overseas really will not benefit your own country. Your leaders are taking your taxes and giving them to their cronies and when they shout "boats" to distract you, you let them.
@ExiledPaddy62@worseville @nannycrin @toryboypierce@SadiqKhan@vivamjm EU has purifying plants for the shellfish that British shellfish can no longer be admitted to, remember that revelation? And you'd do better to direct your anger to the companies unloading shit into your rivers than be distracted by your leaders into hating/fearing foreigners.
@ExiledPaddy62@worseville @nannycrin @toryboypierce@SadiqKhan@vivamjm Bad EU, protecting its citizens from crap products! Like shellfish from shit-infested waters, processed products from deregulated agricultures like US and Australia and who knows, the UK after the "bonfire of regulations?" The UK should check EU imports but it's cheaper not to.
@theousherwood Labour cannot propose (re)turning to the EU until the depths of Brexit have been plunged. As long as its effects can still be denied by more than a rabid few, Brexit is still alive and needs to be seen through.
(I say this as EU citizen who does not want Farage back in the EP)
@Zoetjetoch@mrjamesob I've seen both and agree that the Belgian version is much better. Grittier and not pulling punches. The UK version seems bland in comparison.
