I can’t believe I have to say this… no, I don’t think it is a small price to pay to justify the mistake of starting a war with Iran if they take out Los Angeles and San Diego.

Mr. President, admit your mistake or declare victory, either way end this war.

Doug, I am very sorry to hear this news. As the Libertarian candidate on the ballot with you in Virginia’s 7th District, we may be political opponents, but some things are far more important than politics.

I sincerely wish you strength and a full and speedy recovery. My thoughts are with you, Sabrina, and your family as you face the weeks ahead.

We may disagree on issues and policy, but I have great respect for your determination to continue fighting through such a difficult moment.

Virginians are being lied about the abortion amendment. Please listen to me just for a couple of minutes and see how wrong this amendment is and please share this information everywhere you can before it passes.

People often accuse Libertarians of being spoilers. They say “you’re going to take votes from X to help Y win—you’re a spoiler.”

@ChaseForLiberty put it best:

You can’t spoil something that’s already completely rotten to the core, and that is our two-party system as it exists in Washington.

The better choice to make as voters is to dare to vote differently. Dare to vote outside of a broken two-party system and send a signal to Democrats or Republicans that the quality they are giving you on the ballot is not the quality you want to see as a voter.

And I bet when you do that—I guarantee you, when you make it hurt for the Democratic and Republican parties—they will become a lot more responsive to the needs of you, the voters, and not the people who backed them, their corporate lobbyist partners who buy and trade congressmen like cattle at the auction yard.

TODAY we were supposed to have a political debate @MaryWash for the #VA07 candidates: @YVindman @vademocrats (incumbent) not interested in debating. @DouglasOllivant @VA_GOP CANCELLED at the very last minute claiming illness! @LPofVA candidate @LopezforVA was ready. We called the independent candidate Alaha Ahrar & left a message. Instead of doing the right thing, the PUBLIC UNIVERSITY OF Mary Washington CANCELLED THE EVENT. #pulsopolitico was there & joined our voices to Mr Lopez to protest this arbitrary decision and to call political candidates out: what’s going on with not showing up for #debates? In my view, canceling the debate rather than allowing the remaining qualified candidates to participate raises serious questions about how our publicly funded academic institutions practice the democratic values they teach.
