I'm on the cover of Publisher's Weekly (?!) and featured in this week's issue with other brilliant Writers To Watch. Feeling deeply not chill about the whole thing!!!! A Good Person will be out March 31, 2026!!!!
Congrats to MS. CAMPOS, our assistant principal and first paw winner, whose dedication and hard work has kept us afloat and thriving these last two weeks! 😍🐾
If you know Mrs. Smallcomb, you know she’s the type of teacher that a student NEVER forgets. Today, she had a special surprise visitor today, a student from 11 years ago who had just moved from Liberia when he had Mrs. Smallcomb! 💕
That’s a wrap on our two days of professional development for teachers (this year with Woodland/Claremont staff combined!). Vibes were high, and we are ready to welcome over 500 smiling faces on Monday! 🤗
I vote Worcester starts doing Meet the Teacher prior to school starting instead of Know Your School Night after school has already started. It would be so much less anxiety inducing for students on the first day and wound maybe elicit more parent participation!
The irony of the digital highway signs detailing the number of recent teen crashes is that the sign is so long and distracting it will probably just cause…more crashes.
The Clark University Summer Cubs program took a trip to the Rodger Williams Zoo yesterday, their 4th and final field trip to end their summer program. @LoraBarish and Ms. King got to stop by to spend time with their students!
This is cool, but it would be so much more valuable to think about how to get our Main South kids to school safely without walking by people doing drugs on the streets or people passed out on the side of the sidewalk at 7am…
Thank you to Woodland/Claremont principal Chris Labreck, Woodland co-chair Sophie Kelliher, and Claremont co-chair Liz Leidel for designing a productive and innovative second steering committee meeting today.
Today we had the honor of celebrating Principal Patty Padilla, whose 19 years of tireless dedication have shaped the heart of Woodland. Patty will be dearly missed within our community, but her legacy and influence is woven into the fabric of our school for years to come. 💕
