My day of Paul Williams continued with a screening of one of his favorite film projects - ISHTAR (1987). Williams had an engaging conversation with @tcm host @davekarger beforehand. #TCMFF

Being in the room for the conversation at #TCMFF between @benmankiewicz & Paul Williams was a real treat! Williams is a remarkable individual with fascinating stories to share. As a bonus, I got to briefly chat with filmmaker & friend of Williams, Edgar Wright, beforehand.

Started day 4 at #TCMFF 2026 with a new-to-me film starring Spencer Tracy & directed William A. Wellman - LOOKING FOR TROUBLE (1934). In his introduction, author, critic, & film historian extraordinaire @leonardmaltin called the movie “breezy” which perfectly described it.

Closed out day three at #TCMFF 2026 with a new-to-me film starring two favorite stars - Jean Arthur and Charles Coburn - THE DEVIL AND MISS JONES (1941) with a fun intro by @davekarger.

I can’t understate just how joyous the screening of VICTOR / VICTORIA (1982) was at @ChineseTheatres. The audience was so engaged - laughing, singing, enjoying every minute. The discussion between @TheLesleyWarren and @davekarger was an absolute delight! #TCMFF

Attended “The Major and the Minor Wilders” presentation by author and @ParamountPics archivist Charlotte Barker at Club @tcm. Learned and laughed a lot about the interesting Hollywood careers of the Wilder brothers - Billy and W. Lee. #TCMFF

Great introduction from director Joe Dante for the 75th anniversary presentation of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL (1951). #TCMFF

Perfect way to end day two of #TCMFF 2026, with a packed screening of the John Hughes classic FERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF (1986). The introduction discussion was delightful as well with @ProfJStewart, Alan Ruck, and Ben Stein.

Made it to the stunningly restored @EgyptianLA for the screening of HANNAH AND HER SISTERS (1986) which included a discussion between @BenMank77 and star Barbara Hershey as well as a moving tribute to her long, stellar career produced by @tcm. #TCMFF

Seeing DANGEROUS LIAISONS (1988) on the big screen at @ChineseTheatres with introduction by @BenMank77 and the incomparable Glenn Close was a real treat! #TCMFF

Second screening of day two at #TCMFF 2026, the world premiere restoration of CITIZEN RUTH (1996). Thoroughly enjoyed the introductory discussion between @tcm’s Alicia Malone, director Alexander Payne, and the film’s stars @LauraDern and Kurtwood Smith.

Kicked off day two at #TCMFF 2026 with a stunning, world premiere restoration of @disney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND (1951) at @ElCapitanThtre. Loved the organ performance and curtain show beforehand and the delightful conversation between Disney Legend Andreas Deja and @macantone!

Finally got to check out Club @tcm today where they always have displays of classic film costumes or items belonging to beloved Hollywood stars. This year’s room has pieces from upcoming @JuliensAuctions featuring items from Ann-Margret and Marilyn Monroe. #TCMFF

Had to make the pilgrimage to @LarryEdmunds1 on my first full day on Hollywood for #TCMFF! Always a delightful experience and so fun seeing lots of Ava Gardner goodies. I left with a big stack of signed books!
