Hello, Masahiro Ito! First of all before the main subject, i would like to say i'm a giant fan of your work and carrer and that's why i seeking somehow getting in contact to you.

My name is Lorenzo, i'm a brazilian design student of the university of Unochapeco and currently in the second semester of the course, in the university's design program, we study various design disciplines—such as fashion, product design, masks, and websites—but my personal favorites are game design and character creation. In October, we are due to submit our first fully original project to be showed first to the class, and in the end of the course, we have to present the same original project to a huge audience; it even serves as a portfolio piece for major Brazilian companies and invited foreign firms.; as a fan of games and character creation, I chose to develop a full concept art for a game that doesn't exist—specifically, a Silent Hill title that does not exist. For the project submission, we need to document the research and studies leading up to the creation of the project itself, so I decided to make my own documentary about the entire process. As a first step, I bought the classic Silent Hill games and am currently playing and studying them, as well as the atmosphere created within them.

Since i can't program or model the game myself with the knowledge I have now i'm focusing totally in the artistic direction of it, like the characters and monsters desings (that i'm using me and my friends as face models), the backgrounds, even the dubbing and lines of some scenes and a simple soundtrack.

So, the main reason for this message is to ask for tips on what I should study and focus on to improve the message I want to convey across all my designs, and to hear about the experiences of someone with extensive expertise who has been active in the field for years.
