First startup of #Stormdragbike yesterday on our new MaxxECU, Fueltech injectors & wiring loom at Mark Harrison's Horsepower Factory UK, near Oxford.
Everything went well, there are videos on our other channels. Looking forward to the Easter Nationals meet in 2 weeks! #maxxecu
@CarbonCriminal Wrighty was a bedrock at my signshop through the 90s and well into the naughties on Radio 1. Arnie and the Terminators were favourites. Just a lovely man.
@jezdrawspicture They were still good as all the parts were still made in Japan. Nebraska was only an assembly plant and made nothing in house (thankfully, depending on your perspective).
Storm has gone on holiday to Mark Harrison's Horsepower Factory UK to have the new MaxxECU computer and wiring loom connected up and addressed so that it functions with our existing set-up. More news soon!
#stormdragbike#compoundturbo
@jezdrawspicture It doesn't matter which it is. UK buyers liked the shorter rear guard and US buyers liked the lower Euro handlebars. It was only a 2 year production run, UK bikes came from Japan and US bikes were assembled at Kawasaki's plant in Nebraska to avoid US protectionist import duty.
@TotalMotorcycle I don't have his riding skills but I have the brains to wear proper equipment. I've seen and read too many horror stories about people like him.
@jezdrawspicture I won't ever forget that the lad on the GSXR750 in that pic had just sold his 750 turbo because he was told the Suzuki was faster.
It wasn't. ๐
