@metpoliceuk parking in a bus stop is illegal, right (rule 243 https://t.co/WvMnkCQqWl)? So why can your boys stop to pop in to a cafe? And ignore the lorry also parked there? No blues, no urgency, one went in, passenger remained with the car.
@sainsburys could you please stop your drivers parking dangerously. Double yellows. Opposite a junction. There for at least 10 minutes, not just doing a delivery (which isn't a great excuse anyway). ~12:50pm 3rd June.
@lebara my contract is 5Gb/unlimited/unlimited, usage 2.96Gb/2/0 yet you're recommending I upgrade to 7Gb/unlimited/unlimited ... I think your recommendation engine could use some common sense 🤣
@_dpd_hq_ What would be the point? I’ve no faith anything would change. This is another failure in a long line of them. Central folks plainly don’t give drivers enough time for their rounds, drivers plainly don’t give two hoots.
@dpd_uk another failed attempt at delivery. Driver chilling on the high street (according to your tracker) for 15 mins. Fine, everyone should get a break. Then "oh I'll mark one as 'sorry we missed you' & provide a *completely blank* photo as "proof" of the attempt. Contemptible.
@brivael Loeb doesn’t only have his eyes to sense what’s going on. He can hear what’s happening and, more importantly, feel what the car’s doing through his hands, feet & arse.
I said at the start of the season, if it can't be @LewisHamilton let it be @LandoNorris ... it was tense today but I'm delighted to see another Brit WDC 😀
So Yuki (quite correctly IMHO) got a penalty for weaving today ... can anyone explain why Max didn't in 2021? We can't see the whole thing but I count 4 moves @SkySportsF1@MBrundleF1 ... https://t.co/bwmHsSpbMJ
@Se_Railway train I'm on cost £46 (each, obvs) for ~1.5hour return; there's an annoying buzzing from the speakers. Having settled it's going to be a long journey. Add the attitude of the person collecting tickets ("move carriages") & it's no wonder people drive. Shameful.
@SEbod_SE@jeff_charman The ridiculous thing is that trains are often more expensive than other options. e.g. trains to France a couple of years ago vs flying … £700 more for the train for my family of 4. London to Scotland, also multiples cheaper to fly.
Trains need to be cheaper to encourage use.
@Se_Railway Sorry, I’d left the train by the time I saw your message. It was the 1:15 from Charing X to Hastings and around the middle of the train. Ticket inspector said she’d report it (after saying she couldn’t hear it and suggesting I move) but faith is low…
On a train. £46 return for a ~1.5hr return journey. And the speakers are enjoying a constant annoying hum. Pretty obvious why driving is a preferred option for most. Train companies are crap.
