Yes there is, you can locally host AI models through your own PC trained entirely on your own content if you so wished, or out source datasets that are confirmed to be ethically made.
Friendly reminder that there is no "ethical way" to use gen-AI. Not for art assets, not for coding/scripting, not even for concept art. There is no "ethical use".
It hurts the environment and uses stolen work only to be half as good as an entry-level artist/developer.
I think they underestimate how resourceful kids are these days, it doesn't take much for word on how to use such devices as VPN's or proxy server's in schools these days.
If people want to see content they'll sure as hell find a way on doing so.
I make no apologies for doing the right thing to protect children from paedophiles. This is about stopping the coercion and sextortion of children, not surveilling or policing people’s phones.
This technology is already on devices. The tech firms just need to switch it on to block children from seeing nude imagery.
There is no reporting, no data collection, no monitoring, and no images leaving the device. All adults will be able to switch off the protections if they are over 18.
This is targeted, proportionate and - most importantly - it protects children from vile abusers.
He was also reported to have said:
"he thinks AI will be just as significant to game development as the jump to 3D was, and that he thinks of the plagiarism machine as “a friend”
Hideo Kojima says he’s no longer interested in generative AI:
“Art is life. But in 50 years, 100 years, I don’t know. Maybe AI could create art, but while I live, I don’t think I’ll see it. I’m not interested in it.”
His comments come after the AI-generated ‘Satellites II’ project faced criticism for using AI-created versions of Kojima and Nicolas Winding Refn.
This banning for social media users for under 16 year olds demonstrates that once again, once the government have made up their mind they won't change it due to some petition.
Same for the no digital ID that got I believe 3m signatures and they still ignored it.
I have decided to drop out of the AI program at Amazon. I will not be making a Punky Duck series. Actions speak louder than words.
My intent was to showcase artists, both new and seasoned, both inside and outside the studios, driving this new tech.
My sincerest apology to those I upset. I promise to do better moving forward. Thank you for your patience with me. I will try harder.
Never thought I'd find myself agreeing with the pope, but it further highlights my previous comments on AI not having agency. AI itself can't steal, that's a fact.
PEOPLE can steal and use AI as a tool, but the AI itself, no.
Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
I am so discouraged.
I’ve applied to over 1000 jobs from front desk person, bartender & literally everything in between.
I have my Masters. I have a great resume.
What am I doing wrong?
I love the comments of people saying that the UK blocking Section 30 order is undemocratic not allowing them to decide their own fate. Only, they did in 2014, and voted NO.
Especially since Scotland Act 1998 (Section 29, Schedule 5) stops Hollyrood from acting of their own accord without permission from Westminster.

But at the time of the referendum, it was a known possibility of occurring and still voted -
