What makes this really funny is that since they are continuing to extend the games “development” time, it makes the teaser for the game completely pointless for the Direct that just happened. Biggest solve around for this issue, don’t fucking use AI in general, hire a team PLEASE

【AIの使用について・LEVEL５VISION2026Ⅱ】
今回、イベント内のでの映像についてAIを使用したため
作品の内容に関しても不安の声があがってしまってるようですので、説明をさせていただきます。ひとえに発表会を派手にしたいという思いから最新のAIを使った実験も兼ねた処理を組み込んでみていました。
これに関しては不快に思われた方がいたようですので、深くお詫び申し上げます。

ですが、弊社では、発売作品の魅力や個性に関わる部分、シナリオ、キャラクターデザイン、基礎設定などは全て人の手によってつくっています。AIによる効率化を狙っているのは、主に、人が作ったクリエイティブをデジタル化する部分、たとえば、原画を正確にポリゴンに起こすなどの部分です。発売されるゲームに、安易なAI出力データが入ってることはありませんので、ご安心ください。

逆にAI効率化によって生まれた時間で、よりクリエイターが、創造の本質に時間がつかえるようになってきており、完成した製品は、これまで以上に、皆さんに納得していただける仕上がりになっていると思っています。最終的には、現在の大型タイトル開発期間５年を２年にまで縮めるという計画の元、試行錯誤、奮闘している段階です。

ただ、今回はわかりやすく派手なプレゼンテーションをしたいという思いから、AIを多岐に使用していたことはいなめません。これを教訓とし、次につなげていきますので、レベルファイブの次のなるプレゼンテーションにご期待ください。

No hate for Sakurai, but Kumazaki has done more for the series now and deserves the recognition.

He's been in charge of Kirby for 20 years, directed many of the best and most successful games.

I'm honestly more shocked Nintendo's willing to work with Level 5 on semi big-ish projects related to established series like Professor Layton & Yokai Watch with how disappointedly all in Level 5 is on using AI for their games now including marketing & they are proud of that.
