Sen. Bernie Sanders says "The Democrats ran a campaign protecting the status quo and tinkering around the edges" and that its leadership "are much too wedded to the billionaires and corporate interests that fund their campaigns."
We've got about two to three news cycles left until liberals have convinced themselves that Democrats did absolutely nothing wrong and ran a flawless campaign, and that nothing needs to fundamentally change in order to win in 2028, which will allow them to go back to brunch.
It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.
