🇮🇱 Israel’s former national security service chief Ronen Bar is taking Netanyahu to court over October 7.

Bar, who was chief of Shin Bet, says Netanyahu launched a smear campaign after reports that Egypt and the UAE warned of an impending Hamas attack. His claim: he raised the danger, and Netanyahu ignored it.

He wants meeting logs, documents and testimony from the PM’s office.

Netanyahu says no such warning reached him and accuses Bar of hiding what he knew that night.

Nearly 3 years on, there is still no state inquiry accepted by both sides.

So the fight over who failed first is now playing out in court.
