Phew! #ENGvSCO
Much better second half from us after a tactically woeful first half. Scotland will wonder how they haven't won that.

@RugbyInsideLine Would have preferred a 5/3 bench with Lozowski or Daly included, big call to have Slade in there with no cover and so few minutes under his belt.

Such sad news of the passing of Graham Thorpe. A brilliant player to watch, he laid the foundations to our 2005 ashes team and beyond. His unbeaten superb knock in Karachi darkness to win the series in Pakistan a standout memory. Gone too soon. #thorpey

I felt sorry for the neighbours...

[nellenagem @nellenagem]

@granddesigns I can honestly say this experience has been the worst of my life. It has removed our entire view of the sky and now all we have to look at is a giant red concrete wall. This is located in a conservation area and zero consultation was done with the neighbours.

[Darren Atkinson @LordSlate]

@CountyChamp Nowt wrong with this, good luck to him! If he could get it turning too... 🥳😎

The sound of the Marsh Frog chorus is filling the air here tonight, but so is the Hoo Peninsula's jewel, a Nightingale, singing for a mate at 23.40. Simply wonderful to hear!

Ball is ruled as over the try line by Nick Berry, it's either held up or grounded. The replay showed the ball clearly on the turf, the TMO has had an absolute shocker there. Gutted for the Scots.

[Darren Atkinson @LordSlate]

@EnglandRugby @O2 Nothing wrong with this team! Borthers getting some stick, but the 22 is a good blend of experience and youth. Lets make sure we win first and foremost! Would have liked to seen Furbank, but understand Daly's inclusion giving cover across the backline. 🌹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

@vincemaple Hi Vince, happy new year! I sympathise this is down to the contractor & recycling centre backlog but why were our bins collected on the normal day last week and not a day or two later as in previous years? We now have to wait a full week for our next collection on the Peninsula.

[Darren Atkinson @LordSlate]

@medway_council I sympathise that the issues lie with the waste contractor & backlog at the recycling centre but why were last week's collections on the normal day & not put back a day as in previous years? Subsequently the Peninsula has no collection for a whole week now? Very poor planning.

@WayneBarnesRef A huge loss to the game, quite simply @WayneBarnesRef you have been a superb ambassador for rugby at all levels and the best referee the sport has had. Go well and enjoy those weekends with the family. Thank you.

[Darren Atkinson @LordSlate]

@CAFrench92 @RugbyInsideLine Smith's only 24 so he potentially has 3 world cup cycles in his locker, so still lots of time to improve and make that next step. Aside from that, I agree 💯% exactly with what you say!!👍

[Darren Atkinson @LordSlate]

Well @EnglandRugby you did the nation proud tonight. The game plan was spot on, and well executed. We didn't deserve to lose that. Hats off to the SA front row in that 2nd half, they singlehandedly won them the game.

[Darren Atkinson @LordSlate]

To all of those who said when EJ was fired, that's us out at the QF stage, we've gone one better! We aren't perfect, this isn't an all time great England team, but we have spirit and we have a shot next Saturday. Well played boys 🌹🏉 #ENGvFIJ
