Ah well, i just found out the dude in the video was convinced to evacuate by tampa pd so good job to them. its still a bit concerning though how so many people are too stubborn to realize how dangerous storm surge actually is during a hurricane.

no idea if this is real or staged for clicks, but regardless as someone who has been through Hurricane Sandy and recently Hurricane Helene. you shouldn't stay especially alongside the coast. storm surge and flooding are always the main threat, not the wind itself.
