Brianna Dunkers-Brown from the New York Post, who went to 3 cole concerts in 5 days writes on The Fall-Off Tour stops in NY. She had nothing short of praise for J. Cole :
- On the stripped-back production: “no hype man, no background dancers, no outfit changes, no crazy pyro”
-On his performance: “The breath control was crazy. He was really rapping every word.”
-On his stage presence: “he brought stage presence, energy, and bars to every single show.”
-On authenticity: “He meant every word he said up there and because of that we really felt him.”
-On his professionalism: “He was in control of the show, well-rehearsed and prepared”
-On his status: “calling him anything but a legend [is] indefensible.”
-On retirement: “He is absolutely not retiring. He is at the top of his game and only getting better.”

J. Cole represents HIP HOP in its TRUEST sense.
In an era riddled with people prioritizing sensationalism over the music, it’s important to HIGHLIGHT someone who still places a PREMIUM on the music, the fans & the legends that laid the foundation.
Very few artists have achieved the level of sustained success that he has. I can’t name ONE artist that has done it the way he has.
Respect to Cole!
