"The person who wrote President Tinubu's speech does not like him... There are several people around my beloved in-law (Tinubu) who are not telling him the truth."

I REJECT THE CONCOCTED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced.
I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party.
There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion.
A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. This is not acceptable!

OFFICIAL! Ousmane Sonko has been overwhelmingly elected President of National Assembly of #Senegal, strengthening his political influence and setting up a direct institutional rivalry with President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
Sonko, leader of the PASTEF party, secured the position after lawmakers convened in a plenary session on Tuesday morning to reinstate him as a member of parliament and elect a new Speaker of the National Assembly.
His predecessor, El Malick Ndiaye, a close ally of Sonko, resigned from the role on Sunday, paving way for Sonko’s election.
President Faye had reportedly moved swiftly to the Constitutional Court in an attempt to block Sonko’s return to the helm of the National Assembly.
This expected to further complicate reform efforts by President Faye, who dismissed Sonko as prime minister on Friday following months of growing tensions between the two leaders.
Under Senegalese law, President Faye cannot dissolve parliament until November, two years after the last parliamentary elections.
Ousmane Sonko has been reinstated to Senegal's National Assembly and officially installed as deputy in the Assembly.
The vote to elect him President of the National Assembly is now underway.
President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has reportedly moved swiftly to the Constitutional Court to block it.
**Yes, it's true.** Under Singapore's Parks and Trees Act, trees (and their fruits) on state land belong to the government. This includes fallen fruits in public places like parks or roadsides. You need prior permission from NParks to pick or collect them—otherwise, you risk a fine of up to S$5,000 (or higher in nature reserves).
The reason is to protect public property, prevent tree damage, and preserve the ecosystem for wildlife. Official confirmation from the Ministry of National Development. Always check local rules when traveling!
The man was our direct neighbour in Guzape. He was hardly around because he spent most of his time out of the country. In fact, he had just returned from Turkey barely two days before his son killed him.
His children lived in the house and lacked nothing. They even had an inverter, and my sister would often joke about their electricity bill because their ACs were almost always on, especially in this Adelabu Band A era.
Only for the shocking truth to emerge that his own son killed him. At first, the boy tried to make it look like armed robbers had attacked the house. But thankfully, a neighbour’s CCTV camera was reviewed, and it showed that he was the last person to enter the compound with his girlfriend around 2am.
Honestly, this world is becoming frightening. It is heartbreaking that a son could do something like this to his own father! 😪
@tahyvr Some transfers are absolutely unnecessary in football and can be ruinous. This lad had all it takes to be the next Lampard for Chelsea and England, but that's now another dream unfulfilled.
