The natural world is sacred to the Keyan people and all the living things within it are connected. When a hunter kills an animal it is done with the upmost respect, a prayer of thanks is said over the fallen creatures body and no part of the animal is wasted.
From the open expanses of Tatanka Plains to the thick woodlands beyond the Sapa Mountains, all belong to the tribal confederacy of the Keya Nation. Lead by Chief Tatanka Witko, he and his people are the wardens of this unspoiled land.
Their main antagonists come in the form of monstrous races such as the Wendigo, Pukwudgie and Sasquatch, they have also on occasions fought other human nations like Invicta, Al~Mexia and Cathan.
The armed forces of the Keya Nation bring a diverse infantry and cavalry to the battlefield, from the devastating charges of the Tatankaskah who ride atop mighty Buffalo to the Ozuye who wield bludgeoning war clubs and tomahawks.
Their shamans known as the Wicasa Wakan harness Totem Magic which enables them to imbue themselves or others with the powers of sacred animal spirits, such as the strength of a bear or the ability to see through the eyes of an eagle soaring high in the skies above.
