I saw in the news today that actress Hayden Panettiere had suddenly passed away—she would’ve celebrated her 37th birthday on Friday. So much seemingly ahead of her, and then life abruptly comes to an end. This is a reminder that death is coming for all of us. Many people think death is the end, but it’s not—it is the beginning of eternity! And there are only two places where we can spend eternity—either in Hell separated from God, or in Heaven in the presence of God. To go to Heaven we must accept God’s Son, Jesus Christ, by faith and trust Him as Savior. I hope Hayden had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I know that her family would appreciate our prayers during this difficult time. https://t.co/r74tLKOpCh
Life is a gift - even with Alzheimer’s. Thank you to Susan and my family for their support, and @AARP The Magazine for telling my story.

Yesterday, Dr. Stanley made an important announcement to the congregation of First Baptist Atlanta. We want to congratulate him on becoming Pastor Emeritus, and we look forward to all God will continue to do through him at In Touch!
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-8)
