Chelsea Beach MS XC raced at Stockbridge Invitational today. 18 out of 21 runners had PRs! Boys 2nd out 15 teams and girls 11th out of 12 teams. Four boys placed in the top 25 and earned medals. Congrats!!

The Chelsea girls' cross country team finished 2nd at the Stockbridge Invitational Saturday.

The Chelsea boys' cross country team finished 2nd behind East Grand Rapids at the Otsego Invitational. The race featured 8 of the Top 10 Division 2 teams in the state. Connell Alford improved his school record time by 13 seconds with an amazing time of 14:53.2.

Connell Alford set a new Chelsea boys school record with a time of 15:06.75 to finish third. The previous record was set in 2011 by Bryce Bradley with a time of 15:20.2

What an honor it was to hear about the great life of Gerry Kruse tonight. What a legacy she left! Gerry was the wife of 56 years to Chelsea Track coach Bert Kruse. May she Rest In Peace, and comfort goes out to Coach Kruse and his family.
