I started traveling a long time ago and used to book Airbnbs.
It experienced ups and downs during the pandemic, and began to decline in 2022.
After paying a hefty cleaning fee, you still have to work as a hotel cleaner yourself, so people are starting to choose hotels.

I think I’ve reached the point where I’d rather stay in a hotel than an Airbnb.

I don’t want to buy groceries. I don’t want to take out the trash. I don’t want to strip the bed before checkout.

I want a cozy hotel room, breakfast waiting downstairs, housekeeping doing their thing, and zero responsibilities while I’m on vacation.

When I’m traveling, I want to be a guest, not a temporary homeowner.
