Here are a few impressions of the beautiful medieval village of Aiguèze. From the Camping Car Park, it’s about 2 km to town in flip-flops. The narrow streets stay cool at 34°C, and you can replenish your electrolytes there.

For years, we avoided Laguna campsite near Empuriabrava because of mosquitoes. This year, we gave it a try and were pleasantly surprised: repellent was only needed after sunset. Great location, fair prices, and Empuriabrava is just minutes away.

On our way south, we stopped in Louhans, Saône-et-Loire, home to one of France’s largest markets. Held every Monday, it dates back to the Middle Ages. The nearby Camping-Car Park offers spacious pitches, shade, showers and toilets. Highly
