One of my issues with Breath Of The Wild is how boring the game's world and lore are compared to prior Zelda games. It feels overly sanitized and generic when put against Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, or even Link to the Past.

Legend of Zelda feels like it's hit a brick wall. It used to be that there was an original Zelda game around the corner on every Nintendo system. It feels like ever since Breath of the Wild the Zelda series has been sleeping on original ideas.

@komradekhris @Lok_83 Yeah any fromsoft game is a good example of combat designed around NOT having suck to target mechanics. You have to learn spacing yourself. It has bothered me ever since playing dark souls when it came out, and it's why people will complain about the witcher 3 combat

Goofy giant jello cube that just fully talks like just a guy. It doesn't feel as transportive as 2018. Ragnarok had the same problem with a lot of the characters

I was about to say this sounds like a giant loser rant, but reading his full quote, I think I agree. Loves how 2018, but feels that Ragnarok and what Laufey is doing so far kind of ruin it. They mostly seem to be abandoning the tone that was true to the setting
