How to end teacher shortages:
1 - End pay inequality
2 - End CP hours
3 - Abolish inspection system - total waste of money
4 - Invest in schools (esp IT)
5 - Provide a career path
6 - Introduce a Dublin allowance
7 - End re-interviewing teachers after 1 year.
8 - Get rid of FF/FG

There isn't a shortage of teachers....there is a shortage of positions, pay and conditions, and ordinary, decent respect that would make teaching attractive.

@DublinAirport never mind the security delays there are no seats for the people travelling. They are sitting in the ground! Women with baby’s can’t get a seat to feed the kids!!#DublinAirport

@STN_Airport Have a word with the security lady who abused me as I didn’t get to check my daughters bag as I was trying to get my husband through the scanner wearing a back brace!! Her words to me were ‘ oh finally you are here’. Dear God never experienced such rudeness ever!
