Yeah, #KCD2 Royal Edition is out now, but never mind that for a second, because Henry Hare, Hans Hare, Katherabbit & gang are here to completely ruin emotional story moments in the most adorable way possible (feat. spoilers).
As a Ukrainian in this fandom I have to say: buying games or content from russians supports the war against Ukraine. It doesn't matter where a game is based - what matters is who's behind it. Playing a Russian game = helping destroy my country. There's no gray area
@adlersoldspice @JulyLibertine No problem, and I'm sorry if I came across as rude anywhere - this is really a heavy topic. I hope I was able to make my point clear
@llloreleiii Exactly. Sometimes it feels really hypocritical to speak the truth. People who don't support Israel can still casually support and defend Russia. How is that any better?
@JulyLibertine @adlersoldspice A company can be registered anywhere - Russians do that all the time now: they register companies abroad but live in Russia. Then they get the money you give them and pay taxes that fund the war.
@adlersoldspice @evensstars Yeah. The company may be officially registered elsewhere, but the developers live in Russia - which means the money goes to Russian taxes. And those taxes fund the war
When the Ukrainian government does something wrong, people fight for freedom.
When the Russian government destroys other countries, they just register their companies in Kipr and become "not responsible."
