I'm not sure how long the Juxe was lying in disrepair, but the time it went without upkeep has had an unfortunate effect on a number of the discs. For some, it's merely moisture eating away at the labels; for others, moss and bacteria has damaged the grooves themselves.

To avoid pitching altogether, Logan reverb-ed to the lineup in Season 16. He's not a good batter either - we're all pretty sure he did it just to spite the Magic. Luckily, that's the kind of hair-pullingly frustrating ingenuity Magic fans have come to know and barely tolerate.
