It was an unexpected surprise when Bob asked me to join him on his podcast. I was able to share some fun development stories with him and it was nice to be on a podcast that's not gaming focused. Please check it out!
A fun conversation with @ChanceGlasco , one of the creators of Call of Duty. We cover technical innovations, political interference with storylines, and the social impact of video game violence. (Link next.)
@Run26to100@granteolsen@Ken_Rosenthal I think it's like autonomous driving. We can find situations where autonomous driving got something wrong when a human would have gotten it right, but by far AI is going to be a better driver than humans.
Except umpires won't die when ABS messes up.
Maybe an unpopular take, but this guy is being selfish if he thinks the Dodgers shouldn't modernize because he's unwilling to adapt to technology that's existed since he was 61. Someone who knows him should get a cheap used phone, set it up for him and show him the process.
50 years of loyalty… and now locked out?
Los Angeles Dodgers fan Errol Segal, 81, has been a season ticket holder for over five decades. But this year, he says the team told him they can no longer print his tickets.
The reason? Everything has gone fully digital.
That’s a major issue for Errol. He doesn’t use a computer and only has a flip phone, making it nearly impossible for him to access his tickets.
After 50+ years of loyalty, he now risks missing games simply because he can’t navigate the technology.
So far, the Dodgers haven’t responded publicly.
Is this progress… or are loyal fans being left behind?

PC Gamers who wished we had MLB The Show or something similar on PC can find this on Steam for free right now. It's a limited version but I'm fairly sure they're testing the market to see if they want to deliver a fuller version.
