The French Teacher

She went to Paris...can you believe it?

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

Do something wrong, won't you? Do something WRONG, won't you? But now I'm lost...lost in her laughter. #LiftNY

[Kim Rogers, Fan Attorney @dramakim]

And @KimFayGreenberg destroys me every night with Lost in Translations. @LostToParis @beautifulsoupt #liftNY http://t.co/2fMafVXrV4

[Barnaby at DWNY @DoctorWhoNY]

I wonder what @LostToParis is thinking about? #LiftNY @beautifulsoupt

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

I'm a teacher...languages, would you believe? So why can't I find the right words? #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

Oh God, I'm lost. Lost in this city. Walking thru faces, crowded by memories, haunted by truth. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

And here we are again, back at the beginning. Do you see a pattern forming? #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

I don't even know why she did this. I thought she understood me! #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

I keep telling myself that if this is happening, it will happen in time. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

I don't talk to strangers. I don't pour my heart out to strangers! Besides @SarahDances4U I'm still paying for this dance. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

I keep busy. I keep your picture in a drawer where I know it won't jump out. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

She had this smile...this INCREDIBLE smile. And I understood what she meant when she asked me out for a beer. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

She's gone! Sarah. MY Sarah. She's just...she's gone. Packed her bags and went this morning. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

It will ease with time. It will ease with laughter. It will ease with translations. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

But you twist my arm, then you push a little and it makes me warm, but it aggravates this scratch. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

I have responsibilities. I have a standing in the community. I can't do impulsive. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

Lost in a cafe. Lost in a picture. Lost in a bookshop. Lost in a footnote. Lost in a P.S.... #liftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

You're a catalyst...an equation I cannot do without and cannot translate. #liftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

I don't know. I suppose lying to someone else is easier than being true to yourself. #LiftNY

[The French Teacher @LostToParis]

So I text her in French...she didn't understand. Her French was lousy. Her French was ALWAYS lousy. #LiftNY
