The funniest thing is people still think the USS Gerald ford was hit by a missile even tho it returned home to K’s of people and no one can get a picture of the damage. To the gen Z and new home owners, go check the vents outside your house and clean them. https://t.co/juGCLcoN6r
Also lmao at everyone being like this is totally fine and easily repaired… at the same place a drone just struck? Ukraine could just wait for Russia to spend millions then hit it again
It may not seem like much but really these Ukrainian middle strike logistics campaign might be the biggest shift in the Ukrainian war in a long time. It’s almost completely separate of their 30k infantry death goal. Russia was already struggling just hitting their frontline units
Example of the AI supplemented drones Ukraine is using to target Russian logistics. Still man in the loop but you designate the target then doesn’t matter if you get jammed or lose connection deep behind enemy lines. Bumblebee and hornet drones
@quicklime696969@RALee85 Welcome to the new age of drones, these are the AI powered ones deep behind enemy lines. Lock on and even if jammed or lose connection continue the flight path. Go on any Russian telegram page and you’ll see them complaining about them
Hezbollah is kinda entering the same predicament as ukraine. Even in the world of drones, it’s still infantry that captures and holds territory. A single rpg warhead isn’t the same as a 500 pound bomb hitting a stronghold. Israeli forces captured Beaufort castle
Ukrainian m113 surviving 9 FPV drones to evacuate wounded. Remember this video when people complain about the cost of javelin or ATGMs.
The launch optics of javelins are valuable in themselves especially if they they redo the battery.
I was very pessimistic last couple years but it really seems Russian command just can’t do shit. Their soldiers face this everyday. Middle strikes getting worse and gas/oil really starting to hurt. Then Putin might actually blow the most pro RU USA president ever off-ramp.
And this is all before the rumored Ukrainian ballistic missiles get going which will make even worse for Russia back areas. This war is lasting longer then all the world wars, Russia can’t still just be patting it self on the back for tactical advances around tree lines
@AshShor And fpv crews are easy targets for artillery, airstrikes and other FPVs. Not every war is going to be eastern Ukraine. Ukraine Belarus border should be littered with hidden atgm positions in case of a sudden offensive. Much better for the front line soldiers and then call drones
For tanks it can be even worse, some times dozens of drones. Not every infantry soldier is going to be a drone squad. They need their own powerful mobile anti tank options. The ATGMs are heavier, fly faster and often have tandem charges to beat the makeshift armor on the outside
The funny thing is you watch Hezbollah videos and it just makes you appreciate artillery units. People are like ‘this is gonna change warfare’ when one drone flys into a base. While in Ukraine the front line base wouldn’t exist in a couple hours
Hezbollah’s drones are now the leading cause of Israeli battlefield deaths in Lebanon, responsible for 7 of the 11 soldiers killed since April. The group has improved its tactics and taken advantage of poor Israeli defenses such as troop/vehicle clustering and improper netting.
Russians finally getting intel on a major rebel HQ after Zahran Alloush like 7 years later
Assad: don’t strike
Russian commander whose since died in Ukraine:
Syrian intelligence locked on Julani twice in 2022 alone, in both cases Assad didn't give the order to kill him.
In one of the two times, he was literally in a meeting with most of his military commanders, and senior HTS officials.
